Uniform Policy.
Our uniforms keep families' costs low and every school day simple.
- Navy or khaki uniform pants or shorts (in season)
- White, navy, or hunter-green polo (short or long sleeve)
- Black or brown belt (grades 3+)
- Solid black, brown, or navy closed-toe shoes
- SCS plaid jumper (K–3) or plaid skirt/skort (grades 4+)
- White, navy, or hunter-green polo or peter-pan blouse
- Navy or white knee socks or tights
- Solid black, brown, or navy closed-toe shoes
- SCS logo sweatshirt, cardigan, or fleece worn indoors
- PE days: SCS gym shirt with athletic shorts or joggers

Parent-Student Handbook.
Our handbook outlines the covenant, community expectations, academic policies, and daily rhythms that shape life at Shepherd.
Morning drop-off begins at 7:45 am. School runs 8:00 am – 2:45 pm for all grades, including Kindergarten. Students must be picked up no later than 3:00 pm. Please notify the office by 8:15 am if your student will be absent or late.
Abeka and BJU Press curriculum, integrated Christian worldview, weekly chapel, and daily Bible instruction with scripture memorization.
As a discipleship-model covenant school, we shepherd the heart. Concerns are addressed in partnership with parents in a spirit of restoration.
Current immunization records required. Students who are fever-free for 24 hours without medication may return to class.
Personal devices remain in backpacks during the school day. Classroom technology is teacher-directed.

What are the school hours?
Our school day runs 8:00 am – 2:45 pm for all grades, including Kindergarten. Morning drop-off begins at 7:45 am, and students must be picked up no later than 3:00 pm.
Where do I purchase uniforms?
Lands' End is our preferred vendor for logo items. Basics can be sourced from Target, Old Navy, or French Toast. Don't forget our Gently Used Store!
What if my child is absent or late?
Please call or email the school office by 8:15 am. Extended absences require advance notice so we can prepare make-up work.
